I have a question about Stan

So basically as I’m sure everyone knows Stan is laced with small details that hint at Stan being unstable before the third letter, like him seemingly being delusional shown in the second letter when he mentions how Eminem could’ve given Matthew an autograph and paints a picture of Eminem coldly saying no and turning Stan and Matthew away, but when Eminem’s responding he apologizes and sends an autograph for Matthew, and Eminem’s reply shows they never even interacted showing Stan’s delusions,

My question is do you think Stan saying how Eminem said if Stan wrote he’d write back, was a delusion and never happened because it seems like they’ve never interacted, beside Stan’s letters
