Access data from dead laptop SSD
Hi, so my laptop died a year ago, and recently i extracted the SSD out of the laptop. The SSD is a toshiba KBG30ZMV256G 256GB SSD. I bought a SSD enclosure off from amazon.
The SSD enclosure is a Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs (EC-SNVE).
I then placed the SSD into the enclosure and plugged this in my laptop and desktop and it does not seem to work. The error is that i was not able to access the drive at all. The windows pop up title says "Location is not available" and the description says "D:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function"
I tried looking up the drive through disk management and what it said was: Missing from volume list, shows in disk list as disk 1, and its blank. The status is online, partition style is MBR.
I was only able to see its properties and change its drive letters, but does not work. I was not able to see its space and windows says it was working properly.
Is there a solution in fixing it?
